Due to a change of circumstances we have unfortunately had to sell the cottage so we are no longer taking bookings. If anyone would like to buy the domain name please contact me on 07801 901 131 or email craigricha2000@yahoo.co.uk
Welcome to our holiday home cottage in the Lake District that is available to rent as a holiday let. It's in the historic village of Cartmel, home of Cartmel races and Michelin star restaurant, L'enclume.
Cartmel is in the South Lakes and is close to Grange-over-Sands and Windermere. Grange-over-Sands is only one train stop across Morecambe Bay from Arnside and Silverdale.
The self catering accommodation is a three bedroom cottage that has a double bedded room, a room with two single beds and a room with bunk beds. There is also a travel cot.
We welcome dog owners and the cottage is dog friendly although we do ask that dogs are not allowed up stairs or on the furniture as one of our children suffers from asthma.
It overlooks the historic Priory, and therefore, unlike many holiday cottages the village centre with its pubs, restaurants, shops and tea rooms is only around the corner.
Key benefits of the location are:
It's in the centre of Cartmel, close to four pubs, L'enclume Michelin restaurant and Cartmel race course
It's only a couple of miles from Grange-Over-Sands railway station, which is on the mainline from Manchester, Bolton and Preston (handy if you do need to go to that important meeting while the rest of the family arein Cartmel).
it's in the South of the Lake District, therefore it is quick to get there rather than more difficult areas to reach in the Lake District due to traffic at peak times
It'sa great place to stay for a holiday and explore the Lakes. It's really practical for you to get there by train, and only a short taxi ride or bus from Grange. Leave the car at home!
